The Brookwood Partnership is the only contract caterer that specialises in Independent School catering. We use fresh ingredients and home style cooking and provide a "food standard that can't be bettered" to pupils and staff.
Due to continued growth we are recruiting for a passionate and experienced Chef/ Manager to manage a small team in a new built kitchen at this prestigious independent school in Tonbridge.
The candidate:
Has a genuine passion for food.
Has experience working managing a small team.
Has experience working as a Chef/Manager
Has excellent communication skills and able to respond positively and promptly to requests from clients.
Has excellent attention to detail
Has good time management.
Main responsibilities:
The focus of the Chef/Manager's time will be mostly at the point of freshly produced food, service and client contact.
Responsible for the total standard provided within the budgetary parameters on site, employee management of site staff and local client relations.
Ensuring all services are provided to the agreed and expected quality at the agreed time.
Ensuring everyone works safely for the protection of themselves, others.
Maintaining the bookwork system and keeping adequate records. This involves accurate and prompt reporting of financial data, personnel records and client information.

We are currently looking for a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead our catering team at this prestigious boarding school in Reading.
The ideal Head Chef:
Has a genuine passion for freshly cooked food;
Has proven experience working as a Head Chef in a similar environment;
Has excellent attention to detail;
Has excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal and organisational skills; and
Is a well trained, well-groomed person, who is able to work under pressure.
Responsibilities:
To compile menus for all services according to company standards;
To ensure food is produced to the standards and for the service time required;
To ensure all goods are ordered received and stored as required, so that adequate stock is available for all requirements;
To ensure food production and menu planning complies with budget and financial requirements;
To maintain all hygiene, health and safety standards in the receipt, storage and food production areas through to the point of service; and
To supervise, develop and monitor the performance of personnel reporting to this post as their first level of management.
